Mohan Dass: A Lifelong Commitment to Uplifting Lives Through Volunteerism
Mohan Dass began his volunteering journey at the age of 20, driven by a desire to contribute meaningfully to the community. By the time he was 25, his passion for serving others led him to become actively involved in the Trade Union movement. Through this experience, Mohan gained deeper insights into the daily struggles faced by lower-income members and the critical role that volunteers play in supporting the Union’s mission. This opened his eyes to the impact that collective effort and compassion can have on improving lives.
Over the years, Mohan has remained steadfast in his commitment to NTUC, continuously lending his time and energy to various initiatives that uplift workers and their families. In addition to his Trade Union work, he also dedicates time to volunteering at a nursing home, where he finds immense joy in bringing comfort and companionship to the elderly.
For Mohan, there is no greater fulfilment than knowing that even small acts of kindness can make a meaningful difference in the lives of others and help build a more caring society.
