Caroline Moh
U Live Social Media Ambassador

I was first roped in to be part of U Live’s Social Media Ambassador Team in 2015. Prior to being part of the team, my initial thoughts were one must possess in excellent writing, presentation, communication skills and being well verse in social analytics tools of which I was good at none. As such, my hunger for these knowledge and skills increases from time-to-time in order to stay updated and be relevant to the society.

Being a U Live Social Media Ambassador has been a fruitful and enriching experience for me as I was given new opportunities to learn and to portray my skills.

Today, I….

  1. No longer shy away from writing as I have now gained great confidence in penning this write up. I’ve never dreamt of doing a short write-up on volunteering in the Nov EDM but I did;
  2. Was given the opportunity to facilitate Active 55+ Productivity Module. I have learnt to create a rapport with the participants by encouraging them to step out of their comfort zone;
  3. Demonstrated team spirit when I was partnered with another ambassador, Pearlie. Together, we also did the write-up on the kick-off of the Health & Wellness Module in Sept. Here, we have learnt to draw upon each other’s strengths to complete the write-up together.

As we approach the New Year, I look forward to use technology to enhance my skills. This will allow me to be able to stay connected in social media such as Facebook. In addition, I will also be able to share U Live’s exciting events and activities to my families and friends as well!

Don’t miss this opportunity if you have always been active on social media and wanting to be an inspiration to others. Join us on 18 Feb at Downtown East from 10am to 1pm to advocate the importance of staying connected and be a role model to your peers!
