1. What is U Live Symposium?
Organised by U Live, U Live Symposium is our signature annual event recommended for 50 years and above. It is back in its 8th year to empower the active agers to lead a Happy, Healthy, Productive and Purposeful life.
We are pledging to get you better informed and empowered with knowledge on the usage of various technologies effectively and safely. Minimize your fears and move forward together towards a Singapore smart nation. Join us, and be enlightened how technologies around you can add convenience and ease to your daily lives.
2. When is the event happening?
When: 26 November 2017 (Sun), 9am – 4pm

3. When can I buy the ticket for the event?
Ticketing starts from 19 September onwards and closes on 24 November 2017. Early Bird deal is available from 19 September to 9 October 2017, unless otherwise mentioned.
4. How do I register for the event?

5. How much is the ticket fee?

*NTUC Member refers to those with valid NTUC Plus! Card (see below image) that comes with annual subscription fee of $117. NTUC Member is required to present his/her NTUC Plus! Card when purchasing ticket from SingPost outlet, Box Office and during registration to qualify for LinkPoints.
*LinkPoints will be credited within 30 days after verification of attendance on 26 Nov 2017. NTUC Members will need to present their NTUC Membership card during registration.

6. What can I expect to see at the event? Is there any activity that I can join for free?
There are three highlights at the event:
Practical Learning on Everyday Technology Through a peer learning setup, learn how to use your smartphone for daily lives without disclosing sensitive information and ensure your privacy is protected.
Hands-on Technology Learning to Enhance Living Practise and apply technology such as cashless payments, trying out a self-checkout machine to buy groceries, tracking your phone data usage, even accessing your own health records!
Fun with Future and Latest Technology Be amazed by the latest technology like 3D doodling and VR experience as you try them out for yourself! All activities are exclusive to ticket holders.
7. What will I receive as a registered participant?
Participant who purchased the ticket will receive an Event Pack worth over $20! Paid ticket holder is also entitled to exclusive activities as identified above.

9. How can I get to Downtown East?
By Bus 3, 4, 6, 12, 17, 21, 89, 354, 358
By Train Alight at Pasir Ris MRT Station (EW1) – Just a 10-minute walk from the station.
You may also take any bus mentioned above, alight after a stop from the station.
By Car If you are traveling from Pasir Ris Drive 8, you will turn right into Pasir Ris Drive 1. Cruise along Pasir Ris Drive 1 and turn left to Pasir Ris Drive 6. Travel along Pasir Ris Drive 6 and you will reach Downtown East
If you are traveling from Loyang Ave, you will be connected to Pasir Ris Drive 3. Travel along Pasir Ris Drive 3 and you will reach Downtown East. Traffic along Pasir Ris Drive 3 can be heavy at times.
If you are traveling from Elias Road, you will be connected to Pasir Ris Drive 3. Travel along Pasir Ris Drive 3 and you will reach Downtown East. Traffic along Pasir Ris Drive 3 can be heavy at times.
